What's new

Saving

What you save connects to what you noted before.

Each time you save, Linko shows the Topic it went into and the earlier notes it connects to, right on the card.

You keep writing; Linko does the filing.

Topics

Every Topic shows what you understand so far.

Topic and Tag pages open with your current understanding, each line pointing back to the notes it comes from.

A knowledge map shows how your Topics connect, and rings show how they grow.

Ask Linko

Ask Linko answers from your own knowledge base.

On your phone it opens as a full page from Home and Search; on the web, right beside your notes.

Every answer cites its sources, so you can see which of your notes it stands on.

Resources

Resource pages, rebuilt for reading and notes.

Read the original in the page, play videos and podcasts, and go through Key points.

Select a passage to note it or ask Linko about it.

Every day

Daily review, checklists and sharing.

Daily review gives you one set of notes a day.

Notes can have checklists, and you can share a note as a link or an image.

New names

Same things, clearer names. Linko makes your Topics and files into them; Tags are the groups you make yourself.

  • Topics (by Linko) — was Areas
  • Tags (by you) — was Projects

Also new

On the web and the phone

  • A gentler start: new accounts get a short welcome, and you can skip any step.
  • A more consistent look, a polished dark mode, and new log-in and sign-up screens.
  • Log in with an email code, or with a passkey in your browser.
  • Linko keeps a text copy of the articles you save, so you can still read them if the original is taken down.

On the phone

  • Native menus on Apple devices. Panels close with a pull-down, save when you close them, and keep your draft if you leave half-way.
  • Swipe between tabs on Topic, Tag and Resource pages.
  • Log in with a passkey on iPhone and iPad, too.
  • No connection? Keep capturing: a quiet line says you're offline, and new notes, voice notes and links you add in the app wait on your phone and sync when you're back.
  • Many fixes for smoother scrolling, crashes and screens that could get stuck.

Thank you for using Linko.
